Cut it for a Cause 2014: 7 days, 45 guests, 540 inches

In February, Bella Bethesda Salon hosted its 6^th annual Cut It for a Cause campaign benefiting Locks of Love.  The week-long drive offered a complimentary haircut and blow dry to any guest willing to donate at least 10 inches of hair.  It was heartwarming to see so many new faces join us throughout the week and offer their help to those in need.

The overwhelming generosity of 45 individuals allowed us to collect 540 inches during our 2014 campaign, taking the 6-year total to a whopping 3,993 inches!  The hair will be sent to Locks of Love where it will be made into wigs and distributed to children suffering from medical hair loss due to any diagnosis.

To everyone who donated this year, or has donated to Locks of Love in the past, we are so thankful for your contribution.  Such a simple gift will provide a child with restored confidence and normalcy.  Thank you from the Bella Bethesda staff for your kindness.
