Stylist of the Week: Katie

As one of our wedding specialists, Katie is known for her elaborate up do hair styles. She works closely with brides to create a hair style that works with their wedding dress and hair accessories. As Katie says “it is all about bringing the entire look together – dress, hair and makeup.”


Since she was in high school, Katie has always wanted to be a stylist. She was constantly doing her girlfriends hair and would go to the salon with her mom and grandma every chance she had. Katie has been a stylist for the past five years and has attended many industry education classes to build upon her skills. She loves the creative process when working with her clients.

A country girl at heart, Katie enjoys listening to Brad Paisley. Her favorite place for a vacation is Dollywood in Tennessee, a mixture of a mountain retreat and amusement park.

Stylist of the Week: Cintia

Cintia was previously a dancer in the prestigious Moscow State Ballet before her desire to be a creative professional drew her into hairdressing. Cintia expresses herself artistically everyday while helping her clients look their best. With over 13 years of experience, Cintia excels at helping her clients develop their ideal hair color and also specializes in highlighting.


In the salon, Cintia always tries to maintain a positive attitude and enjoys developing friendships with her many clients. Her current playlist favorites include Bob Marley, Rihanna, Sade, Led Zeppelin and George Straight. While Cintia loves working at Bella, she dreams about escaping to the beaches of Aruba on vacation!

Stylist of the Week: Indira

For Indira, growing up around the hair industry as a child, she knew that becoming a top stylist was for her. With over 22 years of experience, she has learned from the best in the business and continues to further her expertise by attending high level workshops by some of the industry’s top leaders. Indira’s specialties include cutting long layers, precision cuts as well as helping her clients go blonde.


Indira loves her clients, and encourages them to come with an open mind and enjoy the experience. She sees her role as a friend, advising her clients on looks that not only suit their personality but also work with their lifestyle.

A fan of Adele, Indira loves to vacation at the beach!

Stylist of the Week: Abby

We think our stylists at Bella Bethesda are the friendliest around, especially Abby. Her enthusiastic personality is contagious. She lightens up the salon and makes her client feel right at home every day. With over 6 years of experience, Abby specialties include bobs, highlights and teaching her clients on how to do the perfect blow out. Abby will be headed to the Redken Exchange at the end of April for their "Press up the Bride" class.

As a creative mind, Abby came into hairdressing as a way of expressing herself by using her hands. A true people person, she gets her energy from interacting with others and takes the time to develop strong relationships. For Abby, the trust she has with her clients is very important.

As we kick off 2012, what better way to start the New Year than to get to know the people behind Bella Bethesda, our stylists who make Bella a success every day.  We hope that you will enjoy getting to know them over the next few weeks.

Our talented stylist Rebecca is one of the creative minds behind many of the up do’s you see being done at Bella Bethesda. Not only that, her expertise in hair straightening and smoothing services has her clients singing her praises.

With over 13 years of experience in hairdressing, Rebecca came into the industry to follow her dream of doing hair and makeup for theatre and photo shoots.

A great listener, Rebecca takes the time with her clients to interpret their thoughts to give them the style and service they are after. It is important to Rebecca that her clients leave the salon with a style that works for them.

When relaxing at home, Rebecca’s current playlist includes Nat King Cole, Salsa to Hip Hop. Her dream vacation is anywhere tropical.
