Stylist of the Week: Megan

Megan has been helping her clients achieve artistic and edgy cuts and dimensional color for 8 years. Her specialty however, is straightening and smoothing treatments. She is Liscio certified in the Japanese hair straightener.

Megan is inspired by British hair trends and is always on top of the most current looks. She believes that healthy hair is beautiful hair and counsels her clients on how to prevent damage to their tresses. If she wasn’t working in the hair industry, Megan would open a vintage store or bakery, or be a photographer. Megan is conscious of her clients’ busy schedules and is proud of the fact that she always runs on time.

At Bella she likes to play music by The Black Keys or Tegan and Sara. When Megan is in need of a getaway, she enjoys either sunny Hawaii or snowboarding in Utah, Colorado or British Colombia in the winter.

He views his clients’ hair like a blank canvas – fresh and open to all opportunities. Boy is very supportive to his clients and is always there to provide advice and guidance.

A native of Michigan, Boy enjoys listening to everything from Vivaldi to Tony Bennett and Daft Punk. When it is time to relax away from Bella, Boy enjoys any vacation that allows him to experience the beauty of nature.

Demetrios is constantly expanding his knowledge of the industry and keeps up to date on the latest techniques and trends by attending numerous workshops and professional development.

Demetrios’ love for fashion motivated him to get into the hair industry but he says that he would probably be working in the wine or food business if he wasn’t at Bella. On vacation Demetrios loves to travel to beautiful and historic Greece!

As one of our wedding specialists, Katie is known for her elaborate up do hair styles. She works closely with brides to create a hair style that works with their wedding dress and hair accessories. As Katie says “it is all about bringing the entire look together – dress, hair and makeup.”

Since she was in high school, Katie has always wanted to be a stylist. She was constantly doing her girlfriends hair and would go to the salon with her mom and grandma every chance she had. Katie has been a stylist for the past five years and has attended many industry education classes to build upon her skills. She loves the creative process when working with her clients.

A country girl at heart, Katie enjoys listening to Brad Paisley. Her favorite place for a vacation is Dollywood in Tennessee, a mixture of a mountain retreat and amusement park.

In the salon, Cintia always tries to maintain a positive attitude and enjoys developing friendships with her many clients. 2011 Ends with the Inspiring World of Redken!

Bella Bethesda was thrilled to host Platform Artist, Jason Gribbin from Redken 5^th Avenue, on Monday, November 28^th, who taught us about the Inspiring World of Redken. Jason had a gifted way of coaching each individual stylist to foster their own strengths and skills. He shared his knowledge on the current trends and techniques and made sure that the stylists continue to think outside the box when working with their own clients. Jason’s passion for teaching, with a focus on personal growth and development exudes in everything he does. During the four hour class he touched upon color, cutting, braiding and curling. With a lot of information to take in, our experienced stylists here at Bella were excited for the opportunity to further grow and develop their skills.

Leading up to Jason’s arrival, we had multiple stylists out of the salon furthering their own individual education. Stylists, Abby, Courtney and co-owner Lindsey all traveled to the West Coast to the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica, Ca. from October 11 – 15^th. This was Abby’s first Creative Cutting class where she learned to take techniques from the ABC Cutting class and fuse them together to make creative cutting combinations. “The haircuts taught in this class were more “over the top” looks with extreme flair, but they can definitely be turned into everyday looks”, says Abby. The stylists all agree that going back to cover the basics, cleaning the sections, leaves no room for error when using these techniques.

Just a week later stylists Demetrios, Cintia and Tania traveled to the Redken Exchange in Manhattan, NY for Color 911-The Next Generation, on October 24^th – 26^th. This class focused on color correction in terms of multiple colors. You may think that this class would involve brassy yellows, oranges, pinks and purples, but that was not the case at all. “One of the hardest colors to tweak is red heads. Most clients cannot expect perfection within one visit to the salon, as color correction is a work in progress,” says Demetrios. The team left NY with valuable methods and techniques that will create easier and more economical procedures, while also maintaining the integrity of the hair.

As our 2011 elite education comes to an end, we welcome 2012, as there is much more lined up for our stylists. So stay tuned as we bring more wisdom and knowledge your way!

5 Day Creative Cutting Course in Miami Beach

Bella Bethesda stylists, Katie and Indira, spent the last week of summer in sunny Miami Beach at the exclusive Vidal Sassoon Academy. They were very excited to further their education by attending Creative Cutting, a course focusing on developing creative looks and innovative cutting techniques specifically tailored for each client.

Since completing the course, both Katie and Indira feel that their clients love the new looks, new cutting techniques and of course their new hair styles. As a stylist, staying motivated can be a challenge so that is why continual education is very important here at Bella.

Indira takes on that challenge by trying to be more technical and creative with each class she attends. Creative Cutting taught Indira how to position her body while cutting which will help create the proper angle to produce the best haircut and final product. “Learning how to improve your skills and refine what you already know is a must”, says Indira. Due to refreshing her skills, Indira’s haircuts have become much easier. Indira also learned how to communicate clearer with her clients. Allowing her to put them at ease and enjoy their time at Bella.

For Katie, this was her first creative cutting course. She learned how to be more precise and to slow down with her precision and sectioning of the hair. To generate a brilliant cut, it is important to cross check even sections to eliminate taking short cuts. “This class taught me how to develop my techniques, so I can create the best looks and styles for my clients,” says Katie. “It was a wonderful experience and has made me a better stylist.”

We sat down with Erin Adams, Bella Bethesda’s bridal consultant, to learn more about the wedding process at the salon and what each bride should know as she plans her big day.

Book early. First and foremost, a wedding day look needs to last beyond “I do”, so to achieve the quintessential story book wedding it is important that planning for hair and makeup be just as timely as buying the dress. June through September is an extremely popular time for weddings and weekends are booked early and fast. Once a wedding date is picked, it is best to allot plenty of time to book an appointment.
Communicate. We want your day to be even more amazing than you’ve imagined. It is key that the bridal team understands each bride’s needs and accounts for all the excitement that will take place throughout the day. “A lot of brides come in thinking ‘when do I need to start my hair and makeup services?’ but really the question needs to be ‘when do my services need to be done?’” says Erin. Sharing wedding day details with the salon will make sure you aren’t missing in action on the big day.
Stay Organized. Everything is connected throughout the day of your wedding, so it’s important to have details in order. Having a clear image of what your wedding day will look like will help the salon accommodate you and your bridal party. Time of the ceremony, pictures before or after, and the amount of people in your party requiring hair and makeup services all determine how much time is needed to get the job done- and done well!

A February Filled With Love

It was a heartwarming Valentine’s Day this year at Bella Bethesda Salon as we celebrated our Fourth Annual “Cut It For A Cause” campaign. It was great to see so many new faces join us throughout the week and offer their help to those in need.

We are excited to announce that we successfully surpassed our goal because of the generous support of 39 individuals. Originally, setting out to collect 250 inches of hair, we almost doubled our goal by collecting well over 400 inches! A big thank you to our loyal and new customers with their extra long locks. The hair will be sent to Locks of Love where it will be made into wigs and distributed to children suffering from medical hair loss, regardless of their diagnosis.

On top of the hair already collected, we’re looking forward to seeing individuals who pledged to donate come back later this year for their cut and style!

To everyone who donated this year, or has donated to Locks of Love in the past, we are so thankful for your contribution. Such a simple gift will provide a child with restored confidence and normalcy. Thank you from the Bella Bethesda staff for your kindness.

Bella Bethesda Gives Back During a Celebration of Hair Through the Years

On Thursday, November 11, Bella Bethesda Salon pulled its talented staff together to host Hair & Now, a unique, high-glam runway show featuring looks from the Roaring Twenties through the 21st century.

Over 40 models hit the stage for a dazzling show complete with men’s, women’s and bridal styles. Set to mood music channeling each era, Bella Bethesda showcased it’s talents through classic recreations of eras past like bobs, pin curls and a killer Mohawk.

Although hair, makeup and fashion were the focus of the main event, the true purpose behind the party was to bring awareness to a wonderful organization in Washington, D.C. called N Street Village.

N Street Village offers a safe, empowering community for women facing homelessness, poverty, and related challenges such as mental illness, addiction, and chronic health problems. The organization currently serves nearly 900 women each year, providing services that include housing, mental health therapy, physical health and wellness programs, job training, and support for basic needs such as food, clothing, and shelter.

Ticket sales and proceeds from Hair & Now helped Bella Bethesda donate $2,500 to this great nonprofit. We thank those who signed up for the Help the Homeless Walkathon as N Street Village supporters and to everyone for taking the time learn more about our special beneficiaries.

Our partnership and commitment to N Street Village didn’t end on the 11th. Bella Bethesda pledges to provide a future donation to N Street Village and is also looking into ways to get involved at their DC facility. As a women-owned business, we are great champions of N Street Village’s mission and the work they do. We look forward to what’s in store with this great relationship and involving you, our clients, in the process.

Reinventing the haircut

Going to a salon and asking for a completely new look is not for everyone. At Bella Bethesda, we believe what makes a great salon experience is achieving a look that is functional, desirable and manageable for each client. While we continue to learn new techniques and styles, we always remember that enhancing our existing skills is the key to improving your experience each time you sit in the stylist chair.

This was the approach Bella stylist, Megan Atkinson, took when visiting our neighbors to the north in July. For five days, Megan attended a Vidal Sassoon Creative Cutting course in Toronto, Canada. It was here that she learned new techniques to help give every client an updated haircut in lieu of making drastic changes. “Rather than learning how to mimic a popular celebrity trend, this class taught the dynamics needed to update an existing style to make it more functional and manageable without structurally changing the outcome,” said Megan.

With every cut, how the hair is cut is dependent on the desired outcome of the individual and their lifestyle needs. While there are clients who look for total transformations when they visit the salon, the majority wishes just to freshen their look and the techniques provide do just that. The focus of this class was not how to reinvent a person’s look but rather make it more their own. Megan left with a cache of tips that help improve the intricacy of every cut to make it truly unique.

With the humidity DC has experienced this summer, it’s easy to feel like you have no control over your locks. Not anymore!

Bella Bethesda stylist, Demetrios, decided to take matters into his own hands and was recently certified in Liscio, a Japanese straightening treatment. Demetrios now has the skills needed to provide his clients with the ultimate control over their hair and kick that extra volume and frizz to the curb.

To earn this certification, Demetrios jetted off to the Big Apple for a day-long course where he and 40 other stylists learned the ins and outs of the Liscio Japanese Thermal Straightener.

During this course, Demetrios placed extra emphasis on improving how he assesses clients’ hair prior to applying treatment. “This is an invaluable portion of the course and an important step in the straightening service. A full understanding of each client’s hair history is key because if the client has had any previous chemical treatments you may not be able to proceed.” said Demetrios.

The Liscio straightener is great for taming frizz, controlling coils, or achieving pin straight hair. “When done properly, results are pretty amazing,” said Demetrios.

What was Ricardo's goal for the two-day class? To strengthen his skills to best customize the perfect updo for each client that sits in his chair.

Only a hop, skip and a jump away in Baltimore, Ricardo and fellow stylists learned the tricks to Parsons' renowned techniques and incredible hairstyles. The class focused on 16 looks and provided insight on how to create gorgeous styles for all occasions including black-tie events, weddings, and proms in just fifteen minutes.

During this fast-paced course, stylists practiced cutting edge tricks such as knotting, lacing, and folding. Furthermore, stylists learned how to train their clients to prepare their hair before coming to the salon in effort to make them a part of the styling process.

Why Cut?

Whether you're searching for a trendy cut or just updating your traditional look, having a hairstyle that suites you is important. But, fabulous looks are an art form. In fact, the best ones come from hairstylists who understand not just the how, but the why behind cutting techniques. So, last week Bella Bethesda stylists, Tania and Katie, hit up NYC for a back-to-basics course with Redken called "Cut and Know Why".

Tania did not have the traditional training most stylists do. With her natural ability, she was able to learn by example, from a family of hairstylists, and received her certification from mentors and on-floor experience. This class was a great refresher course for Tania, focusing on the fundamentals of cutting that are so essential to crafting any great look. The instructors began by breaking down the cutting process for the stylists and forced them to focus on individual skills in order to perfect their technique.

Through this hands-on course stylists were able to gain consultation experience as well; learning how to utilize face structure as a guideline for giving the client a cut that works well with their face shape.

Because Tania would like to be an instructor in the future, she said the most valuable take-away from the class was understanding why she uses the techniques she does. This will enable her to be a better communicator not only with clients, but also with future apprentices and assistants.

"[They] motivate me to become a great hairdresser. Redken makes you want to learn and do more within the industry," said Tania.

Katie also thrived off the high energy environment provided by Redken. Each morning of the four-day course, stylists were greeted by enthusiastic instructors excited to dive in. Being Katie's first experience at Redken, she left with a well-rounded understanding of what goes into creating a complete look.

The course also equipped stylists with simple ways to change their techniques, enabling them to work faster and more efficiently thus providing clients with better results. As stylists were walked through the step-by-step process, no detail was forgotten. Each part was broken down for them to ensure their technique was perfect- even down to their posture.

So, what's Katie's greatest take-away from the course? A face-framing technique. "It's perfect every time, I don't ever need to go back through and touch up," said Katie. She loves it so much that she immediately started using it on clients upon her return and has received great feedback!

Because Katie had such a positive experience with Redken, next on the agenda are two more Redken classes: a color class in October and another cutting class in January. She is looking towards a Design Certification in the near future to become a recommended stylist on the Redken website.

Oil Spill Relief

We were able to raise a significant of amount of money (and hair!) to help two very worthy organizations. Because of our clients’ support, we were able to donate $2,000 to World Vision and help children directly affected by the January 12 earthquake in Haiti. In addition, because of the kindness of 30 individuals who joined us for this year’s third annual Cut It For a Cause campaign we collected over 300 inches of hair to benefit the nonprofit organization Locks of Love. Spring is in full bloom (although it’s felt more like summertime these past few weeks) and the Bella Bethesda stylists are gearing up for the fun that's in store from wedding season, summer trends and of course the beautiful weather.

To prepare for the change in season and arm himself with the hottest new looks, Bella stylist Demetrios recently ventured to the TONI&GUY Academy, a premier hair cutting company, in New York City. For one week Demetrios learned new techniques for achieving the looks that will be all the rage as summer rolls in.

While Bella Bethesda stylists love to attend a variety of leading hair schools and connect with stylists from around the country, each school provides a different type of learning environment. Vidal Sassoon (which Abby attended earlier this year) is known for teaching blunt, geometric looks but at TONI&GUY, softer, piecy looks are the focus.

In terms of trends ,according to TONI&GUY, for women it’s all about maintenance and keeping it easy. For the girl on the go short, masculine-esque cuts are very in. If you prefer having length, lots of layering around the face and short bangs are great. For men, this summer the clean cut look will be the style of choice. Channeling the military’s buzz cut, looks that are very close to the head will be easy to maintain and #1 on the hot list.

To achieve such looks, stylists practiced a variety of cutting techniques such as:

point cutting: holding the sheers parallel to hair and cutting into rather than across; provides loose, every day looks that are easy to maintain
slide cutting: using sheers along hair without opening and closing them to cut; great for thick hair to remove excess weight
razoring: often thought to be unhealthy for hair but when done properly achieves great looks

"The looks, although somewhat daring, are easily interchangeable,” said Demetrios. "Some of the more adventurous cuts are perfect for New York but here in DC, where hair tends to be more conservative and professional; the trends are still completely functional. The techniques I learned allow me to translate popular looks to fit my clients and their lifestyles.”

Since returning from this latest session, Demetrios has put many of the techniques into practice. Later this spring he will return to New York to attend a cut and color seminar at Redken.

Bella Bethesda's Newest Junior Stylist

Abby Whalen has spent the last two years at Bella Bethesda Salon perfecting her skills and training to be a talented stylist. Many of you know her because of her tenure as Lindsey’s assistant to learn the tricks of the trade and hone her cut and coloring techniques.

Since her apprenticeship with Lindsey, Abby has taken on her own clients, including kids and teens, and has worked with our senior stylists to gain the experience and confidence to join our staff full time. And now, as February comes to a close, we can’t be more excited to have Abby complete her first month serving as a junior stylist at Bella Bethesda Salon!

It seems fitting that her transition to junior stylist culminated with an ABC Cutting Class with Vidal Sassoon, the preferred cutting techniques of her mentor Lindsey. For five days, Abby refreshed and refined her skills in sunny South Beach, Miami while working closely with the head educator Stephen Moody. Moody also serves as International Executive Director of Vidal Sassoon Education.

The class covered the techniques needed to master every type of haircut stylists may encounter from long hair to bobs, men to women. Real models were provided for the stylists to try out what they had learned but also allowed them to focus on their consultation and interpersonal skills.

“This class was great. Having watched Lindsey put the Vidal Sassoon techniques into action, this class really helped to bring together everything I have learned over the last few years. Now, I’m even more prepared to give great haircuts, no matter who sits in my chair. I am very excited to begin this next step in my career at Bella Bethesda.”

Although she will use the next few months to put these techniques to practice and take on new clients at the salon, Abby looks forward to expanding her education with more classes in the future.

Bella Bethesda Celebrating Third Annual ‘Cut It For a Cause’ (FREE HAIRCUT!)

It’s that time of year again (and we don’t just mean Valentine’s Day). In the spirit of the month, we are asking for your help to spread the love by celebrating our third annual “Cut It For a Cause” campaign to benefit Locks of Love.

This week-long event has become an annual one at Bella Bethesda and we can’t thank you enough for the impact you have made over the last two years. Last year, we collected over 800 inches of hair and with your help hope to collect even more in 2010!

‘Cut It For a Cause’ kicks off this Sunday, February 7 and will continue through Sunday, February 14. All hair collected throughout the week will help provide hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children with medical hair loss due to disease, burns, and cancer. Bella Bethesda will also donate a portion of all product sales made throughout the week to Locks of Love.

Whether you have been growing your hair with the intention to donate or want to revamp your look with a drastic cut, we welcome you to the salon to show your support and receive a free haircut in the process! The Science of Great Hair Color

Happy 2010! We can’t express our gratitude for your votes and support. With this title we’re reminded how important it is for our stylists to continually strengthen their skills, so that we can make every single one of your visits to Bella the best they can be!

Stylist Boy Sharp came back from California in August with a series of new cutting techniques, and most recently stylists Katie and Tania visited the Big Apple to work firsthand with leading experts on their coloring skills.

Katie spent two days at the Wella Studio at Rockefeller Center in the heart of NYC. And Tania, a few blocks away, attended a four-day class at the Redken 5th Avenue studio. To kick things off, the classes went back to basics and then worked with the stylists to build and improve their skills.

Because color does fade over time, Wella’s coloring class provided tips for extending the life of hair color. Katie learned that adding cellophane to color can make a big difference. Not only does it add tons of shine, it won’t damage your hair and will keep color locked in longer. Katie also learned about Wella’s relights system, which is perfect for touchups and grey hair. The relights mesh with existing color to refresh hair for a natural look. Katie loves relights so much that she’s used them on almost every color client since returning!

At Redken, Tania learned the science of color and strengthened her skills when it comes to giving a thorough consultation. During her class, stylists learned about the chemical components found in hair dyes and the importance of creating the perfect formula to achieve the right look. Stylists had the opportunity to work with real models to practice the technical and interpersonal skills learned over the four days- meaning they had the benefit of real-time feedback. Tania says all consultations are unique but the fundamentals she learned at Redken can be applied to every client.

“It is fun to connect with other stylists and see how techniques differ in locations across the country. I hope Bella’s eagerness to learn shows our clients that as a team, we are thinking outside the box and want to provide the best service to them.”-Katie

The Engineering of Haircutting

Recently, Bella stylist Boy Sharp attended a five day cutting class at the Vidal Sassoon Salon in San Francisco, and clocked more than 35 hours of hair cutting practice! For an entire week, Boy felt like he was back in school, attending class from 10am-5pm and taking in as much as he could about the art of hair cutting (he even squeezed in some time to get great insight from the Vidal Sassoon color expert). Each day, the students worked with three different face shapes and focused on one unique cutting technique for each. The student stylists were then given plenty of time to experiment and practice each technique. After the full week, Boy left California with 15 new techniques that can be used in an infinite amount of combinations to create the perfect look for each individual client.

What did Boy have to say about his experience?

“This class changed things up in a brilliant way. The techniques I learned are 100% usable for 100% of my clients. As the days get hotter and humidity levels rise, we know those of you with curly and damaged hair are preparing to fight the frizz. DC weather offers little sympathy to unruly hair but Bella Bethesda has a great solution! We have a variety of straightening options that will give both you and your tresses some time to relax this summer.

Because we offer a variety of straightening options, it's best to meet with one of our trained stylists, such as curly hair expert Megan, prior to any treatments. You'll work with your stylist to determine what is best for your hair and needs.

Treatments available at Bella include:

Bella Bethesda Salon is excited to announce the newest addition to our talented staff, Corey Gray. Corey is an accomplished colorist with over 15 years of experience in the industry. As a color expert, Corey excels in delivering the perfect look from simple touchups and natural tones to complete changes and dramatic colors. Corey comes to Bella Bethesda from PR at Partners Salon in Friendship Heights, where he co-founded a custom program which develops the perfect color technique based on an individual's face shape.

A native to Montgomery County, Corey served in the U.S. Navy for three years prior to receiving his beauty training. He began his training in 1991 and began concentrating on color in 1994. Color Tips from the Color Expert

These are tough times indeed. Personal budgets are getting tighter and consumers are forgoing regular beauty treatments for do-it-yourself solutions. "Why go to the hair salon to get your hair colored, when you can do it at home, right?"

Bella Bethesda Salon understands, but despite what you might think, professional coloring can actually save money in the long run. That's why Bella Bethesda's color specialist, Boy Sharp, recently offered hair care tips to extend the life of your color and keep your hair looking fresh and vibrant in between visits. Following these few tips and giving your hair extra care can stretch the time between appointments and keep you looking fabulous longer.

Be conscious of the shampoo you use. Shampoo with a low surfactant (cleaning agent) won't pull out moisture and will help keep color locked in. Also, shampooing less will increase permanence.
Conditioner is most important. Don't use a polymer based conditioner - it suffocates the hair. Leave the conditioner in for a few minutes and rinse out using colder water than you shampooed with.
Be aware of your styling products. Mousse and aerosol hairsprays have drying agents that strip the moisture from the hair. Try products by Phyto that focus on keeping colored hair healthy.
Be careful applying heat. If using straighteners, curling irons, or blow dryers use a thermal protectant like a leave-in conditioner. Start with the cool setting first and apply more heat as needed.
Work with your stylist. Color adds personality and definition to hair and can easily be tweaked for seasonal and lifestyle changes. Talk with your stylist to create your ideal coloring regimen to achieve the perfect look.
Go with the healthier option. Store dyes contain harsh chemicals that strip the hair and often the color changes over time. Correcting at-home color mistakes can be expensive and extremely damaging process that can be avoided by going to a salon.
Benefits outweigh the price. Self application can be tricky. Professional coloring can result in a more controlled and natural look.
Not ready for a complete change? Highlights and lowlights enhance natural color and can recreate texture, volume and shine.
Protect your hair while adding some personality. Go with a gloss. Kick up your shine and add a hint of color. Perfect for any hair color.
Color does not need to be drastic. Semi-permanent and demi-permanent dyes can be applied to soften grays or add lasting vibrancy to hair.

Bella Bethesda Salon Donates Over 800 Inches of Hair

Thank you to everyone who helped make Bella Bethesda's second annual week-long "Cut it for a Cause" campaign a huge success!

We surpassed last year's total number donated and collected 855 inches of hair (that over 200 inches more!), which will be donated and turned into hairpieces for children with medical hair loss due to disease, burns, and cancer.

We also received pledges from 25 additional donors whose hair wasn’t quite long enough to donate during the campaign and we look forward to seeing them in the salon later this year.

A special thank you to the students, staff and parents from Stone Ridge School in Bethesda who joined us on Friday, February 13. Eight students donated their hair and many came to support the cause. Throughout the last year, about 40 Stone Ridge students have donated their hair to Locks of Love and during Bella’s campaign many signed the‘Pledge Board’ promising to donate when they have at least 10 inches of hair.

We love that we were able to out-cut last year’s donation. It is so nice to see the community come out and support a cause so special to Bella Bethesda.

Bella Bethesda Salon Hosts Second "Cut it for a Cause" Campaign

Last February, Bella Bethesda Salon hosted the Cut It for a Cause campaign to benefit Locks of Love, a non-profit organization which provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children under the age of 18 with medical hair loss due to disease, burns, and cancer. Because of the great response from the community we were able to donate a total of 640 inches of hair to Locks of Love which helped over 2,000 children across the country.

From February 7-14, 2009 Bella Bethesda will host the second annual week-long event to help the worthy non-profit, and we hope you'll be able to join us for this special campaign and pass the word along to your friends and family.

The holidays will be here before we know it, and no matter how well we plan, it still seems to get a bit hectic towards those last few weeks of holiday shopping, cooking and festivities.

Plan to steal away for a little R&R this holiday season. On December 5 Bella will host a day of pampering and luxury. Throughout the day we will offer free treatments and free blow dry consultations.

And since it was so popular the first time, later in the evening we will have experts from Atlantis Medi-Spa join us at Bella Bethesda for a Botox party.
